The so-called „wind rose” occurs on this mountain and it is described as the meeting of the continental and Mediterranean air currents, which accelerate the healing and recovery from many lungs and hurt diseases, especially thyroid disease and anemia.
The Zlatibot mountain is an active tourist center all year round. During winter it is mainly a ski center and during the rest of the year its mild climate, moderate altitude, and many picturesque and winding trails ( Ribnica, Beli Kamen, Previja) provide enjoyable stays to bike riders and climbers.
