This cozy room offers a comfortable double bed and a desk from where you can easily work in private while enjoying the beautiful view. You will also have at your disposal a heating system and a closet for your clothes. The two bathrooms are shared and have a powerful walk in shower. Flora and fauna
The accommodation is located in the Montseny Valley (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve) 45 km from Barcelona and Girona.

Montseny is a northern massif isolated from the Catalan pre-coastal cordillera. It includes an extraordinary diversity of flora and fauna as it is located in the transition zone between the Mediterranean and Atlantic regions, with very well conserved Cork Oak, Holm Oak, Beech, Chestnut, Pine and even Fir forests, giving way to vast grasslands in the highlands.

The numerous water courses are bordered by riparian forests of Aspen, Willow, Hazelnut and Ash trees. Among the fauna, together with other Mediterranean species, there are species that are characteristic of Central-European ecosystems, such as the Edible Door-mouse, the European Green Lizard or the Aesculapian Snake, and high mountain species such as the Pyrenean Brook Salamander and the European Common Frog. The entomological fauna is also very varied with a rich diversity of butterfly species.

Social ecosystem
The accommodation functions as a hub for entrepreneurs, other times as a creative laboratory, sometimes as an artist residence or as a business incubator. ⁣Hosts and their guests often organise workshops, courses and events.

If you're looking for digital nomads hubs, you will definitely find them in Barcelona, 60 km from the accommodation. It's a very popular destination for digital nomads being a home for over 300 coworking spaces and frequent meetups.

Barcelona and Girona are accessible in a 40 minute ride by the highway or 50 minutes by train.

Barcelona will welcome you with its history which is one of the oldest in Europe, buzzing nightlife, charming beaches and a wide variety of artistic treasures, the Romanesque churches and the greatest names in modern art and architecture such as Dali, Gaudi, Miro or Picasso to name a few.

In this stay, nature and the rolling green mountains are literally at the doorstep. Only a short walk from the local town, the guests and owners are often hosting or joining in wider community events and parties. There are plenty of nice coffee shops and bars nearby with many dietary options, including vegan, for you to enjoy alone or with your new friends.

In this stay, all the services you need are within 5km range including Large supermarkets. The closest town, Santa Maria de Palautordera, is know for hosting the biggest number of artists in the region, giving it an incredible bohemian and welcoming vibe. Not your typical sleepy village.

How to get there
From the airport to the accommodation:
- by train: direct train R2N to Palautordera (around 1h), then there is a shuttle bus from Palautordera do St. Esteve de Palautordera where you get off. The hosts can also pick you up from the train station
- by car: 1h (highway AP-7, Sant Celoni exit)
