We loved out time at this apartment and the service from the landlords was excellent. Everything was lovely and anything we required provided. They even printed out documents for us. We used the apartment for remote work and holiday and for us it was perfect. Within walking distance of Funchal approax half an hours walk or 40 minutes stroll but the bus stop is only a couple of minutes away and takes less than 10 minutes too. Try the Tiles Restaurant - superb food.

Touristy but local shops too.Lots of classy accomodation and great restauraamts and bars. Good supermarkets that are brilliant for self caterers.

Tiles Restaurant - Also great little bar when you walk along to the left a few hundred yards cant remember the name but stocked full of every kind of drink you can think of. Also serve tea and coffee too. Noodle bar opposite the Savoy as you are getting close to Funchal. The lunch buffet was superb. Natural History Museum. Small ut intersting. The Story House museum was brilliant for a cool or rainy day

Everything was good and met our expectations. Owner was really nice and always helpful with all things which pop up during our stay. One little minus is that bedroom is on the same site as street and it's a little bit loudy during the night
